Alternating rows of purl &amp; knit gives you &quot;stockinette&quot; or &quot;sweater stitch&quot;. Using only &quot;knit&quot; or only &quot;purl&quot; will each result in the item looking like garter stitch. Don&#039;t worry about it. I prefer to garter stitch scarves, because that way the edges don&#039;t roll in.</description>

		<description>I love bookmarks! I always use a little spray starch on them, it doesn&#039;t make them hard as a rock stiff and also blocks them too. Anything to make it easier...heheh BEAUTIFUL. Love the colors</description>
