It looks like you got some really nice colors in that box of yarn.

I really like the cornflower bookmark. I may have to try that with the colors I currently have - so that would be white and pink. :-)

Sorry to hear about having to frog a bit on your prairie star doily (it looks nice by the way). I find thread to be mind consuming. I am unable to multi-task when working with it and I always find the mistakes too late.

Good luck with the tatting. I tried to teach myself once and it was a no go. Come to think of it - I wonder if I still have my thread etc. from when I tried.

The RAOK was terrific, I'm sure it made your day!

I tried thread the other day for the first time. A little flower. I used #10 thread and a 1.65 size 7 hook. It's hard, a lot harder than I imagined. I plan to try more when I get some other thread (and more hooks), but I think I'll end up doing more yarn. I do not see the title of "threadie" in my future!

To answer your question, yes it's a sucky Lexmark. To refill the blank in, you have to use a baby screwdriver and poke a hole in top of the cartridge. To do the color one, you have to use a box cutter, pry off the top and then reink 6 holes according to the color guide in the instructions and then retape the top on. The color one worked for two reinkings and the blank one for about 6. I think the whole cheap printer/expensive ink thing stinks. To top it off, when you buy it, it only comes with a color cartridge, you have to buy the black one-ugh.......
