Stuff on cats

Filed under: Life, the universe & everything — daisy at 4:09 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2005

I still have a lot going on, haven’t even worked on any of my projects in…actually I’m not sure how long. A week? More?

But I had to come here and ask a question. I don’t know where I first saw the link to this site, so you all may have seen it or not. But. Have you seen the Stuff On My Cat site? It’s hilarious.

My question, though: Do any of you really have cats who are that tolerant? I truly cannot picture Kit-Kat or Lena putting up with that sort of hijinks. Kittycat would flee. Lena would probably smack me around first (she’s skittish, and if someone touches her in an Unapproved Manner she’ll smack you—no claws, unless you ignore the Warning Smack and keep doing whatever it was she didn’t like). And then flee. I’m having trouble picturing how these photos get taken without sedation.

Oh, and a photo on that site that I can relate to: Remington the cat loves to knit.

I love that site, too. No way would my cat let me put anything on her and take a picture,
but I’m still going to give it a try.

Not one of my four would allow that sort of treatment. They lay *on* stuff, not have stuff laid on *them* lol. My Tigger/Tiger/Tugger is currently laying on a bag that was holding yarn yesterday, I had to wait till he removed his fat ass before I could get another bal of yarn out, so I figured I better get ‘em all lol. Sure ’nuff, he’s been on it pretty much ever since (with the occasional food and bathroom break lol) and even beat up Goofball when he got inside the bag hehehe
